Mark Your Calendars - Shady Gators Opens April 3rd
Join us at the Party Capital of Lake of the Ozarks on April 3 to kick off the start of a great season! Shady Gators is the scene for all the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks. Each year some of the most talented artists and bands in the area join us at Shady Gators. Here are few of the faces you're likely to see during the 2015 season:
Pronounced Doctor-zhi-vegas, these kings of the dance floor have charmed international audiences for 14 years with their unmistakable Je ne sais quoi! The irresistible combination of swagger and style, rock & roll meets dance floor funk! Their expertise rests in giving the people what they want. They're always dancing, always rockin, always compelling, always playing your favorite song. DRZHIVEGAS is a live 21st century Juke Box! DRZHIVEGAS IS the party.
Hailing from Jefferson City, Missouri, Five Turn Knot is a 6 piece band rocking FM radio anthems across the entire dial, Country, Rock & Pop. This is party music, so if you want to get up and dance, don't miss the show!
One word to describe the swampdelic sounds of Chubby Carrier and Bayou Swamp Band? Fun! Pure Louisiana zydeco fun with a hot sauce chaser. Anybody who has doubts about the accordion as an instrument will be swayed the right way with Carrier's passion and fire on the instrument.
The line up includes: Jim Jennings on drums and vocals; Matt Bullard with guitars and vocals; Andy Ham with guitars, vocals and fiddle; and Mark Behymer on bass guitar, keys and vocals. There are two technicians, Tim Wachter and Trevor Mitchell, and two drivers, Roger and Justin Wilson. Every day, they are writing songs for the new album; every weekend playing for all of the loyal fans!
A local group from O’Fallon, Mo., “The Rough Riders” entertains and wows the crowds with some good ole country music such as, Hank Williams Jr.’s “Family Tradition” and Craig Morgan’s “International Harvester.” They are awesome! The Rough Ryders kick some serious butt and are a hard act to follow!
If you're ready to party...come party with Charlie! Charlie and the Stingrays, that is. They're a no-holds barred party band that's always a guaranteed good time. They play only the hottest rock and roll hits from the 60's, 70's, and 80's along with carefully chosen dance favorites of today. This mixture makes for an evening of non-stop excitement. The music brings out emotions within the audience that most bands simply can't bring to life!
Well Hungarians are one of the nations hottest acts delivering a "high octane" sound coupled with an unforgettable dynamic live performance, having performed for well over 1,000,000 fans since 1993! Well Hungarians, originating from the St. Louis/Southern Illinois area, have performed in concert with many music greats, from country artists Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Gretchen Wilson (x4), Keith Urban, Travis Tritt, Tracy Lawrence (x3), Trace Adkins, Sara Evans, Charlie Daniels (x3), Keith Anderson (x2), Clay Walker, Blake Shelton, LoneStar, Trick Pony, Craig Morgan, and many more!
If you want a dance party, you NEED the ZEROS! Made up of longtime local rock heroes coming from bands such as My Three Sons, The Sons of Rex, Naked Soul, Go Kart, Outhouse, and The Elders, the ZEROS have plenty of experience in pleasing a crowd and putting on an infectious show. The ZEROS are the ultimate new wave 80's band, playing all of the best new wave and no hair bands. Loaded with an intense energy and the power to bring back a flood of memories, the shack is sure to be rockin' when the ZEROS take the stage.
The Nace Brothers Band first played together on December 31, 1981. Twenty-four years later, they're still going strong. The band is now musically unstoppable, touring 220 dates over 50,000 miles a year. For the Nace Brothers Band, music has been and always will be a way of life. Come to Shady Gators to party with the Nace Brothers!

Phat Mike and the Bartenders
Serving up a soulful helping of rock-n-blues with a few sides of R & B, funk and some original music for dessert. Phat Mike is not available for nice, peaceful, calm, lounge gigs.
