Shady Gators is easily known as one of the best restaurants at the Lake of the Ozarks. While that is partly because we're the Party Capitol at the Lake of the Ozarks, it's also because we have the best food at the Lake of the Ozarks. From spicy Cajun to your good 'ole favorites, we have it all, and we love that you keep coming back for more.

Shady Gators is excited to be open seven days a week now from 11 AM to closing, and we're excited to serve up the best food and drinks around. Here are a few of our mouth watering appetizers that we're sure you're going to love on those beautiful summer days.

Brazillian Sizzle

Freshly trimmed beef tenders marinated, seasoned, grilled to rare, sliced thin and served on a sizzling cast iron skillet.

Surf & Sizzle

World famous Brazillian sizzle served with six jumbo shrimp (blackened or jerked).

Chicken Nachos

A heaping pile of tortilla chips topped with pepper jack queso, lettuce, tomato, onions, shredded Monterrey Jack cheese and finished with blackened grill chicken. Served with a side of salsa and sour cream.

Chips & Salsa

You can get this as is, or add queso or crawfish queso to spice it up!

Cajun Popcorn

Sweet crawfish tail meat batter dipped and deep fried.

Coconut Shrimp

Four of our jumbo shrimp hand battered in fresh coconut flakes. Served with a rum sauce.

Shrimp Happens

Six jumbo shrimp blackened, jerked or fried.

Chicken Tenders

Lean strips of chicken breast hand breaded and fried to perfection, served with choice of sauce.

Poppers

Four large jalapeno peppers stuffed with shrimp and our very own sweet chili cream cheese rolled in bread crumbs and deep-fried to a golden brown.

Wingies

Hickory smoked jerked chicken wings served dry or with mojo sauce. Also available deep fried with hot sauce or with sweet and spicy sauce.

Gator Bites

Tender gator filets marinated in a citrus blend, hickory smoked and flash friend. Served with a Citrus Aioli dipping sauce.

Legendary Sweet & Crunch Fingers

Sweet and crunchy white fish filets drizzled with honey and served with raspberry tarter sauce.

Catfish Whiskers

Fresh filet of catfish cut into strips and hand breaded. Served with tartar sauce.

Party Hard at Party Capitol

From the food do the drinks, and the parties to the bands we know how to have a good time here at Shady Gators. We have weekly events, plus some exciting all summer events, like our sand volleyball team! You can boat in, or drive in, and experience our fantastic restaurant this summer!
