Cajun Favorites at Shady Gators
The summer is spicing up nicely at Shady Gators, with amazing events, a new Baja Cantina at Lazy Gators, AND the best Cajun food at the Lake of the Ozarks. When you want a flavor that packs a punch at a restaurant that is known for being the Party Capitol at the Lake of the Ozarks, you've found the right place. While we have an awesome menu filled will good 'old country cooking, we also have a section that features Cajun Favorites, and they are DELICIOUS!
Chicken Gumbo
We start with a thick brown roux, fresh vegetables, chicken, and andouille sausage served over white rice.
Jambalaya
An authentic spicy Cajun feast. It's a mixture of chicken, shrimp, and andouille sausage and tomato filets slow cooked to perfection.
Crawfish Etouffee
Sweet crawfish tail meat simmered in a dark rich roux with a dash of this and that.
Red Beans & Rice
A traditional Monday dish in Cajun country slow-cooked with smoked ham hocks.
Crawfish Cardonnel
Sweet crawfish meat sauteed with vegetables and tomatoes in a rich cream sauce.
Menage Au Trois
For those who can't make up their mind, we give you a helping of jambalaya, red beans, and rice, and choice of gumbo, etouffee or Cardonnel.
There's a lot happening this weekend between Lazy Gators and Shady Gators, and you won't want to miss a single second. From Dr. Zhivegas bringing the laughs on Friday night and Saturday night from 9 Am to 1 AM, to the iBerry's on Sunday and the 1st Annual Gator Classic Bags/Cornhole Tournament!
Of course, you can't forget about the ALL NEW Lazy Gators Baja Cantina and Tequila Bar! This is a new and hopping adventure happening only at Lazy Gators and it just opened. If you don't want to hear how cool it is second-hand next week, you HAVE to be here!
