3 Things we LOVE About Opening Day

Shady Gators is opening THIS WEEK! On March 31st our Shady Gators location will be opening up for the 2017 season, and we can't wait to kick off the season right. Summer isn't complete with enjoying it at the Party Capitol at the Lake of the Ozarks, and in just a few short days, you can do exactly that. Here are a few things we LOVE about opening day to get you pumped.

Making New Friends

One of the best things about hanging out at Shady Gators is that you can meet new friends, find old ones, and hang out with them all in one place. Our restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is the perfect place to grab a beer at the bar, get out on the dance floor with the coolest songs, and meet some really fun people. The season is just kicking off, and we have such a great time on opening night. There's no better place to meet new people and have a great time than Shady Gators at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Enjoying Great Food

If you love Cajun food - then Shady Gators is the place to go. We have the best food at the Lake of the Ozarks, from delicious appetizers, fresh sandwiches, and HOT Cajun food. You won't want to miss out on our incredible menu at the best lakefront bar at the Lake of the Ozarks. Not only can you enjoy a great menu of food at Shady Gators, we have a full bar ready to create your favorite drinks. Come join us this weekend and order your favorite food. Here are a few of our favorites on the menu:

Brazillian Sizzle
Fresh trimmed beef tenders marinated, seasoned, grilled to rare, sliced thin, and served on a sizzling cast iron skillet.

Seafood Alfredo
Fresh crab meat, shrimp, and crawfish sauteed in herb butter and finished with Alfredo sauce. Served on fettuccine noodles.

Crawfish Cardonnel
Sweet crawfish meat sauteed with vegetables and tomatoes in a rich cream sauce.

Crawfish Etouffe
Sweet crawfish tail meat simmered in a dark rich roux with a dash of this and that.

Blackened Fat Cat
Two blackened farm raised catfish fillets over wild rice topped with crawfish Cardonnel.

Screamin' Mimi
A tender juicy grilled chicken breast dipped in our hot sauce topped with crispy bacon, melted sharp cheddar, and provolone cheese.
