4 Reasons Why We LOVE Lazy Gators

While we slowly wait for summer to come back and make its grand appearance, we're thinking back on all of the fun we had over the last year at Lazy Gators! If you've never been, you're missing out on a wildly good time. From amazing musicians and DJ's on a regular basis, to the best food at the Lake of the Ozarks - we just can't get enough of the lazy summer days at Lazy Gators. Here are a few fun memories to look back on, and some fun things to know about for next year!

We LOVE the Parties

When you come out to Lazy Gators, it's always a party! With music pumping, people partying, and the lazy summer days just floating by. Of course, we also have BIG parties come in throughout the summer to help us have an even better time. The biggest, and most well known, is the ReHydrate parties. These are great events that are hosted here a few times a summer - and if you've missed them in the past you won't want to make that mistake this year.

We LOVE the Pool

There's nothing better than spending a lazy summer day floating around in the water. It only gets better when you can swim up to the bar to get your favorite drinks! The Lazy Gator pool has a beautiful view of the Lake of the Ozarks, and it's always the source of a great time. People come from miles around to sit back and enjoy a lazy weekend soaking up the sun and the fun.

We LOVE the People

Lazy Gators wouldn't be nearly as much fun if YOU weren't here! The people that come out here are a huge part of what makes our restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks so much fun. The parties, the food, the drinks - none of it would be the same if you didn't come back every summer, heck, every weekend to enjoy it with us. We designed this place with you in mind, so you can come out, stay in one of our vacation houses at the Lake of the Ozarks, enjoy lazy days with friends in a Cabana, floating in the pool, and then partying it up on those sultry summer nights.

We LOVE the Potions

It doesn't get much better than a cool drink on a hot day. Our bartenders are serving up the best day in and day out every summer so you can keep the fun going all day long. Of course, new for 2016 was our Baja Beach Club Cantina and Tequila Bar! The fun menu came complete with amazing drinks. Here is just a sampling of what we enjoyed last summer:

BBC House Margarita - blue agave reposado tequila, fresh lime, agave.
Sea Ray Margarita - casa noble crystal, fresh citrus, agave gran marnier.
Too Hot to Handle - blue agave silver tequila, fresh lime, agave, jalapeno, citrus liquor.
Smoke on the Water - blue agave, silver tequila, mezcal, fresh lime, agave, citrus liqueur.
Paloma - silver blue agave tequila, pink grapefruit soda, grapefruit bitters
Guilt Free Pina Colada - rum, pineapple, coconut milk, coconut water.
Burro Blanco - tequila, ginger beer, bitters, lime.
