Gator Favorites from Our Cajun Menu
No matter what the season, it's always gator time, and one of the best ways to enjoy it is by indulging in a few gator favorites. At Shady Gators, we have the best Cajun food at the Lake of the Ozarks, and when you're looking for good food and a good time - we've got it! In fact, we're the Party Capital at the Lake of the Ozarks. If you're looking for a great lakefront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks that's still serving the best food at the Lake of the Ozarks through the fall - we're the place to come. Here are a few Gator favorites you won't want to miss.
Freshly trimmed beef tenders, marinated, seasoned, grilled to rare, sliced thin, and served on a sizzling cast iron skillet.
Chicken Nachos
A heaping pile of tortilla chips topped with pepper jack queso, lettuce, tomato, onions, shredded Monterey Jack Cheese and finished with blackened grilled chicken. Served with a side of salsa and sour cream.
Legendary Sweet & Crunch Fingers
Sweet and crunchy white fish fillets drizzled with honey and served with raspberry tartar sauce.
Seafood Alfredo
Fresh crabmeat, shrimp, and crawfish sauteed in herb butter and finished with Alfred sauce. Served with fettuccine noodles.
Crawfish Etoufee
Sweet crawfish tail meat simmered in a dark rich roux with a dash of this and that.
Crawfish Cardonnel
Sweet crawfish meat sauteed with vegetables and tomatoes in a rich cream sauce.
Blackened Fat Cat
Two blackened, farm raised catfish fillets over wild rice topped with crawfish Cardonnel.
All good things must come to an end, and while we've had a great run of things this summer. From amazing parties out at Lazy Gators with incredible DJ's, awesome bands, and fun times, to delicious food, cold drinks, and hopping parties at Shady Gators.
Through the end of September, we have adjusted hours, and will only be open Thursdays through Sundays at 11AM - but that doesn't mean the fun has stopped. We'll still have amazing food, and you just have to try our gator favorites!
In October, our hours will shift again and we'll be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 11 AM. You will have all weekend to make memories and keep the good times rolling.
